We had an early morning in Therapati followed by a nice cool morning walking through the moist and mossy woods. Stopped for some tea and continued down some crazy steep hills. Nepalis people really aren't in to switch backs as the day before told me, it's either straight up or straight down, and in the mountains there is no such thing as a flat path. This is where we first encountered some deep trenches that looked like streams of had dug out of the hillsides for years but were dry at this point. By the afternoon we made it down to farm lands where there were more houses and not just the lonely lodges scattered every so often. We made it to Kutumsang by the early afternoon where we had some lunch at our lodge that was perched on a ridge with warm weather and great views on either side. Kutumsang was probably my favorite small village we stayed in since it was still really removed in the mountains with few tourists, no road access, and nicer accommodations with a REAL hot shower. It was blissful. A lot of people dry corn in front of their house as pictured below. This was only the second place that had a satellite phone(in the wooden lock box), but still only really had 1 light bulb in the dining hall for the guests but I think they had another one in the kitchen.
