We woke up at 6:15 in Kutumsang and were the first ones on the trail. It was a long day and in the lower lands it was hot by 930 but thankfully we had a lot of trenches to walk through which provided shade. I liked the two porters in the matching pink and black jackets. These little Nepalis guys are amazing, they carry tourists outrageously big bags with a strap that loops around the top of their heads, they go faster than anyone, and are of course the last people to get a meal wherever they go. We climbed down some steep slopes and back up some an endless hillside, passing through many small villages and farms, we were back in a car accessible area but never saw any. We ended our long day in Chipling(i think) at a nice, half built, lodge with a group of kids dancing, singing, and playing instruments outside with fire crackers all night. The three day Hindu festival that I can't remember the name of was well under way and the people were really excited. I was super tired and had another refreshing bath in a bucket after my clothes had dried a bit.
