I don't even know how to describe this experience. Rai brought me to a small, tucked away studio where 12 of his friends had gotten together for the festival. Rai brought me with him and we had a little ceremony followed by a bunch of food and about a million questions from his friends. I'm now Rai's 'brother' and it was all so amazing and surreal.
